Message	2.0 megapixels are fine for up to an 8x10 print. if you are going to go over that (posters, etc.) the more the better. you need to know what kind of memory you would like. compact flash cards are the most common, secure digital memory is cool but not very common yet. usb connection is a must. check the max resolution they will shoot, the bigger the better. We have a canon powershot s330 (i think) digital elph. It works great for what we do. took it on vacation in feb. and had all our pics printed and they came out great. basically find one that has the best features and reviews for the amount of money you are willing to spend.
